Taste Buna

Buna Bet has selected three kinds of arabica coffee beans and one is a specially developed house blend.

Buna Jimma
Jimma is the capital city of Kaffa province, the region that is Ethiopia’s largest producer of coffee. One of the three natural Ethiopian mochas, very full-bodied. Jimma gives us some idea of what coffee must have tasted like when it was first discovered.

Buna Yirga
Sublime and relatively rare Ethiopian washed coffee with low caffeine content. Grows wild at 2000 meters in the Yirgacheffe region. After having the outer layers of skin and fruity pulp removed, the beans are soaked up to 72 hours in fermentation tanks. Beans treated with this ‘wet’ method have a higher acidity. Yirga is very smooth with lightly bitter and chocolate accents, has a floral fragance and a more full-bodied taste than dry-processed coffees.
